Step-1 :
Inform the insurer

Contact the insurer on the toll free number and inform the insurance company of the accident and register the claim. Note down the name and contact number of witnesses if any. Don't leave the vehicle unattended

Step-2 :
Take your vehicle to the garage

Contact the insurer to send the surveyor and arrange for a towing vehicle to take your vehicle to the nearest garage. Don't drive your car to the garage to avoid further damages.

Step-3 :
Surveyor submits his inspection report to the insurer

Surveyor submits his inspection report to the insurance company on the basis of which the insurance company authorizes the garage for the repairs depending on the policy coverages

Step-4 :
Take your vehicle

In case of cashless pay the excess and deductibles and take the delivery of your vehicle. In case of reimbursement pay the total bill and take the original bills and receipts and submit to the insurance company for processing

Step-5 :
Submit the documents for reimbursement

Please note that that the below mentioned documents is not exhaustive and you may be required to send other documents as required by the insurer

  • 1 : Claim form duly filled
  • 2 : Policy Copy
  • 3 : Registration Certificate
  • 4 : Driving License
  • 5 : First Information Report
  • 6 : Original Estimate
  • 7 : Original Invoice
  • 8 : Payment receipt

Step-1 :

Lodge an First Information Report with the nearest police station and retain a copy of the First Information Report

Step-2 :
Register claim

Inform the insurance company via toll free number about the claim

Step-3 :
Proceed with the claim

If your vehicle is not found within 90 days, ask the police to issue a non-traceable report and submit the same to the insurance company for processing

Step-4 :
Submit the documents

Submit all the requisite documents to the insurance company for processing the claim. Please note that that the below mentioned documents is not exhaustive and you may be required to send other documents as required by the insurer

  • 1 : Claim form duly filled
  • 2 : Policy copy
  • 3 : Registration Certificate
  • 4 : Driving License
  • 5 : First Information Report
  • 6 : Regional transport office intimation letter
  • 7 : Non Traceable report
  • 8 : No objection Certificate from Financer
  • 9 : Original set of keys

Step-1 :
Assist the injured

If your vehicle is involved assist the injured person and shift him to the nearest hospital if required. Take down his contact number. If you are the injured, obtain the insurance and policy details of the vehicle

Step-2 :
Inform

Inform the police and obtain the First Information Report copy. Intimate the insurance company about the accident as soon as possible.

Step-3 :
Submit the documents

Submit all the requisite documents to the insurance company for processing the claim. Please note that that the below mentioned documents is not exhaustive and you may be required to send other documents as required by the insurer

  • 2 : Policy copy
  • 3 : Registration Certificate
  • 4 : Driving License
